My journey in medicine has always been driven by one simple goal—to provide compassionate, evidence-based care while using the latest advances in minimally invasive surgery to achieve the best outcomes for my patients.
After completing my MBBS from the prestigious Seth G.S. Medical College and KEM Hospital, Mumbai, I pursued my M.S. in General Surgery before securing an All India Rank 5 in the highly competitive Institute of National Importance Super Speciality (INI-SS) entrance examination. This achievement earned me admission to the Department of Urology at the Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER), Puducherry, one of India’s premier centres for advanced urological training and India’s leading medical institutions ranked No. 2 nationally in 2026.
During my M.Ch. training, I developed extensive experience in the diagnosis and surgical management of the full spectrum of urological diseases. My clinical practice has particularly focused on kidney and urinary tract stone disease and benign enlargement of the prostate (BPH) , which together form the bulk of modern urological practice. I have performed and assisted in numerous advanced endourological procedures, including ureteroscopic stone lithotripsy(URSL), Retrograde Intrarenal Surgery (RIRS), Percutaneous Nephrolithotomy (PCNL), Holmium Laser Enucleation of the Prostate (HoLEP), Transurethral Resection of the Prostate (TURP), and other minimally invasive laser surgeries.
My training also includes robotic and laparoscopic urological surgery, reconstructive urology, uro-oncology, female and functional urology, renal transplantation, and management of complex urinary tract disorders. Throughout my academic career, I have actively contributed to research, authored multiple peer-reviewed publications, and presented my work at national and international scientific conferences.
I believe every patient deserves clear communication, honest advice, and personalised treatment. Whether treating a first-time kidney stone, helping a patient regain quality of life after prostate surgery, or managing a complex reconstructive procedure, my approach is centred on providing safe, ethical, and compassionate care using the latest evidence-based techniques.
I currently practise in Mumbai, offering comprehensive urological care with a special interest in kidney stone disease, laser prostate surgery, minimally invasive endourology, and robotic urological surgery.
